• What should my child bring to camp?


    Lunch. TLC will provide snacks and drinks throughout the day. Please let TLC staff know if your child has any food allergies or dietary requirements.

    Bathing suit, a towel, sunscreen, sunglasses, sun hats and a change of clothes are also important. Your children will spend a lot of time outside playing and in the sprinklers. Please be sure they have what they need to be protected from the sun.

    Please be sure to label any items that your child brings to camp.

  • What field trips will my child go on?


    A schedule of field trips will be posted on the  TLC Camp Field Trips.  Trip locations are subject to change based on availability.

  • Does my child need to wear special clothing for field trips?


    Yes. Proper footwear is required such as sneakers, close toed shoes, and water shoes for water play. Flip Flops are not allowed at camp and pose a potential health hazard to your child.  TLC will provide all campers with one TLC camp T-Shirt that will need to be worn on field trip days.  You will have the option to purchase additional T-shirts during the time of registration.

  • Is there an additional charge to attend field trips?


    The cost of field trips and special events is included in the program fees so no additional charges apply.

     

  • Do I need to fill out a permission slip for each field trip?


    Yes. A permission slip is required for every field trip for each child. This can be printed off on our website and brought to camp on your first day.

  • When can I register my child in TLC Camp ?


    TLC Camp Registration is available online through the Parent Portal, February 2, 2024. The deadline for applying is May 17th. After this date, applications received will be subject to availability.

  • What forms do I need to fill out to register my child?


    While you are applying to register online through the Parent Portal, you can submit the following items in order to complete the registration process and have your child enrolled in the program. If you do not wish to submit online please mail this information to: TLC, 720 Daniels Farm Rd, Trumbull, CT 06611 or email to registration@tlctrumbull.com.

    • CT Health Assessment Form- this is required for all children
    • Copy of your child's COVID Vaccination card is recommended
    • Copy of your child's medical insurance card; and
    • Application fee of $60 (one child), $30 for each additional child.

  • If my child's schedule changes, how do I let TLC know?


    If your child attends TLC Camp all final camp schedule changes and or withdrawals need to be received via the TLC Parent Portal by Friday, May 17, 2024. After May 17, 2024, you are financially responsible for and promise to pay all program fees for the days you have enrolled your child in camp, whether they attend or not. Exceptions will only be made for medical reasons, validated by a Doctor's note submitted to the TLC office, or if TLC is able to find another child to fill those slots.  

  • How do I let TLC know if I need to withdraw my child from camp?


    All cancelation requests must be made through the TLC Parent Portal. Please understand that after May 17, 2024, you are financially responsible for and promise to pay all program fees for the days you have enrolled your child in camp, whether they attend or not.

    Exceptions will only be made for medical reasons, validated by a Doctor’s note submitted to the TLC office, or if TLC is able to find another child to fill those slots. All withdrawal requests must be made via the TLC Parent Portal.

  • My child has allergies/asthma. Can TLC handle this?


    State Licensing requires TLC staff to be trained to administer Epi-pens, Inhalers & Benadryl. TLC Medical Authorization forms must be completed for each type of medicine that might need to be kept at TLC. The TLC office and center staffs will do their best to make you comfortable and confident that your child is well cared for.

  • What is TLC's policy on refunds?


    Registration fees are nonrefundable.  However, in the event that your child is placed on a waitlist and we are unable to accommodate your registration request, we will refund your registration fee, if you need to make alternate arrangements. 

    No refunds are issued for any reason other than medical. No refund will be made in the event that a child is removed from the program. To apply for a refund, please send written request along with a doctor's note to the TLC office.
